10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary ~ traditional service

Communion served on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 22, 2012.

Wednesdays at noon (followed by a soup lunch) and at 5:30 p.m. The evening worship will feature the "Holden Evening Prayer" service.

Concert: Sunday, March 11, 2012

Set Sunday, March 11, on your calendar for a special musical treat. Jim Hendricks, pianist and performer, will be here during the second service and will be providing a special concert that afternoon.

Hendricks has performed with such legends as Dave Brubeck, Della Reese, Rita Moreno, Jack Jones, and many others. He also competed in numerous international piano competitions and was a featured orchestral soloist. By the age of twenty-five Jim had accepted a professorship in the piano department of Chicago State University. Jim has performed well over 1,000 piano concerts in churches across the land. He has made twelve piano recordings, and has performed on ABC, CBS, TBN, and PAX, as well as authored books on arrangement for piano.

Singers and Ringers!!

Concordia Choir rehearses the 1^st, 3^rd, and 4^th Sundays of the month at 9 a.m.;
they perform at the 10:30 service on the 1^st and 4^th Sundays.

Anacrusis rehearses on the 1^st, 3^rd, and 4^th Sundays of the month at 11:30;
on the 2^nd Sunday of the month, they rehearse at 9:15 a.m.
and perform during the 10:30 service.
